Rhondda Golf Club was founded in 1910 and is situated 1,000 ft above sea level. The course combines the wonderful wildness of the area with spectacular and breathtaking views of the valleys. Play across impressive mountain tops high above the winding rows of miners cottages below. The club is proud to have staged the launch of the successful Welsh bid for the 2010 Ryder Cup and has hosted the Welsh Masters Tournament on numerous occasions which bears testament to the quality of the course.
Keeping with the heritage of the area, each hole is named after a colliery which once operated in the locality and formed such an important part of this regions history.
A warm welcome in the hillsides is extended to all visitors.
