Mountain Ash Golf Club, which celebrates it's Centenary in 2008, has been described as the Jewel of the Valleys. The course, which is always in excellent condition, is not long but it presents a real challenge for golfers of all abilities and significant thought and skill are required if the heathland course is to be beaten. The welcome is always warm, the clubhouse inviting and the hospitality excellent. However, the real beauty of Mountain Ash lies in it's location and setting. The mountains of the South Wales Valleys and Brecon Beacons provide a spectacular panorama and it's remoteness allows you to forget about the pace of modern life for a few hours. There is no doubt that Mountain Ash is a place of great beauty and tranquillity and a golfing experience not to be missed.
