Dare Valley Country Park

Escape into the glorious countryside of Dare Valley Country Park and discover one of the best kept secrets in Wales!

Our 3 star guest accommodation, caravan and camping site offers comfortable surroundings at a reasonable price. With Visitor Centre/Cafeteria, small gift shop and way marked trails to suit all abilities. A great place to stay, a great place to explore - Dare Valley Country Park is spread over 500 acres of beautiful countryside, just a mile from Aberdare town centre in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

The Park has free admission and is open 365 days of the year, Visitor facilities open all year, seven days a week (except one week over Christmas holidays). Visitors Centre open 9.00am - 5.30pm April to September and 9.00am - 4.00 pm during the winter. Accommodation and caravan/camp site open from March - November. All accommodation is en-suite with tea & coffee making facilities, all rooms can be bunked to accommodate four which makes Dare Valley an ideal base for schools and groups wishing to explore this fascinating region.
